Due to the sensitivity of the measurements, the relative occupant danger is averaged over the entire USA. We conclude it is 47 times more dangerous to ride upon a motorcycle than to ride within a vehicle, mile for mile. Motorcyclists experience 47 times the danger that Vehicle Occupants experience.
